                                    Tina Mitchell & Joy
Hi there all, having played this game since 1996 I have the honour this year of representing Zone Two for the sixth time and the third time with my Lil’ Devil 😊 During the couple of years since our last DAC outing, Joy has discovered two new passions. One of these exciting new pass times is in the pursuit of tormenting her little brother Moss and the other is Agility Games!!
Joy having earned the distinction of being the first dog in either Zone 1 or 2 to graduate to Games A has been our thrill of 2017 so far
(very much looking forward to following that up with the Team Shield!!). Team trials in Zone Two are always a great fun experience and this year was no different. An awesome bunch of guys and gals, and as always, a team and a zone to be proud of 😊 I would like to convey my kindest regards to the other zone teams – honestly, I do!! However, my best wishes go to my Zone Two team mates 😊 I hope that everyone here this weekend achieves their personal goals and goes home with the best dog ever 😊
Karen Morrison & Fate
Hi, I’m Karen and I’m super thrilled (if not a little overwhelmed!) to be representing Zone 2 and the Tokoroa Dog Training Club with little Miss Fate at NZDAC this year. Fate is my second agility dog and this will be my second time representing Zone 2 at NZDAC. Fate is exciting to run and she challenges me in more ways than I can count! Our journey together has been extremely special and she is an amazing team mate. The following poem, written by my good friend and fellow Tokoroa club member Linda Martin, nicely sums up our first year competing
together 😊
A huge shout-out to the amazing friends who have helped and supported Fate and I on our journey to date. It hasn’t been the easiest ride at times and we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you all! Fate and I wish everyone a very enjoyable NZDAC. Best of luck, safe travels and go Zone 2!!
There once was a girl named Karen Who had a dog called Fate
Fate was a border collie
As cute as cute as one could rate
Now when Fate was a little baby She caused a worry or two
But Karen said no worries girl
I have a plan for you
The journey that they begun
Was the same that everyone would take
But time and commitment Karen would show And an awesome agility dog Fate would make
In a year Fate has gone from strength to strength From running wide to running out
From missing tunnels and contact points
Hey Miss Fate what was that about?
But now they are an awesome team Attacking courses with confidence and glee Winning trophies and ribbons galore
What a zone 2 rep they will be
